Advice for beginner

Hello,

I am an entrepreneur with 10 years experience in my (non RE) field. I’ve ran my business for 1.5 years and am thus far profitable.

It has always been my dream to own a rental property. I understand getting a mortgage as a self-employed person can be difficult. Does anyone out there have any experience or advice, obtaining a rental property mortgage as a entrepreneur?

Hi Welcome Tom to BP. Being self employed has some challenges but its not impossible to get pre approved. We actually work with many self employed borrowers and real estate investors.
