New From Portland, OR
Hi everyone,
My name is Jabien and I'm a new member/poster from Portland, OR. I've been lurking on these forums for about 8 months, basically just after I bought my first house. I got the bug from watching flip shows and my personal favorite, Income Property. I bought a big turn of the century craftsman and converted the top floor into a seperate apartment using an FHA 203K loan. Of course, I found bigger pockets after the purchase so the numbers aren't exactly the best but it pays most of my mortgage and there is potential for a third apartment in the basement that make the numbers better when I move onto my next home.
I've been searching for what I want my niche to be. I was leaning towards buy and holding multifamily properties. After listening to Show 39, I think the strategy of land flipping and using the cash to invest in multifamily with a buy and hold strategy.
Anyway, I think that's enough info for my introduction, look forward to meeting you guys!
Cheers!
