@Alberto Lazcano , make sure you know about mesquite rental inspections & all their requirements. They are one of the more stringent on requirements and inspections.
I do not have any homes in mesquite but I have a family member who does. I have heard they will require inspection before each new tenant. During that inspection if they find anything that has been done that did not get a permit, they will require a permit to be pulled. They have requirements as to house condition as well. If you keep your houses in good shape that will probably be less of an issue, but you need to know what they look for....especially if your home has had unpermitted stuff prior to you buying it.
