Com. RE. agent from New York City

Hi all,

Wanted to introduce myself. I'm from NYC, 24 years old and I live and work here as a commercial real estate agent (investment sales). We deal with all asset classes (MF/MU, Retail, Office, Hotel, Land/Dev sites and notes. Typically larger transactions anywhere from $5mm-$100mm+ within the 5 boroughs with a focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn.

In addition to the brokering we have a strong capital markets team in house and arrange for any type of financing with equity partners, funds and/or banks and can be creative when it comes to structuring the capital stack.

Any investors in the area looking for properties, (re)finance or general Q's about the market feel free to reach out.

Now what am I doing here? My goal is to build an investment portfolio of cash-flowing properties via buying smal multifams and SFR's. I've been doing a lot of reading and this site has been a GREAT resource. My issue is finding properties that I can afford in the area is not exactly realistic. My plan is to begin looking outside of the NY metro area, maybe CT, MA, or really any other region that's promising.

Looking forward to being part of the community - thanks to everyone who contributes here. I'm learning more every day! Not only is it contributing to my knowledge of investing for myself but for my job as well.
