Intro:

Hello Squad!

I am new to the BP forums and am excited about engaging with a diverse mix of investors, agents, lenders, contractors, and more! I look forward to not only building relationships for my own self-interest and receiving guidance along the way, but I also look forward to being a productive contributor on the BP forums. As much as I am always seeking guidance and continuing education, I absolutely love to be a team-player, helping others take the same steps toward their goals and operational objectives.

About Me:

I am a 30-year old investor from and currently residing in Indiana. My initial exposure to real estate as an investment strategy was in the fall of 2019. I read "The Book on Rental Property Investing" after brainstorming what ways I could make money and quit my day job. My mind wasn't in the right place at the time I read that book(primarily because of my life-long indoctrination that debt is BAD BAD BAD), so I ended up getting scared and put it aside. Thanks to the interest of my best friend, I began studying real estate as an investment class in the summer of 2020, with the intention of unlocking financial freedom for myself, to buy back my time. Ever since I officially decided to dive into the weeds, I have been hooked and love continuously learning about the different ways RE can develop into a wealth snowball.

Currently:

I own 4 SF homes, all of which have been purchased since summer 2021. I pulled the trigger on my first with a partner, then, the last 3 have been solo acquisitions. My studies helped me prepare for what was originally an intimidating experience, going through all of the channels to meet people, interview team members, obtain financing, conduct efficient analysis, and ultimately TAKE ACTION. Once that first property closed, I was ready and intimidated no more!

At this time I have decided to take another step out of my comfort zone. Joining the BP forums and committing to engage is that next step for me. I realize that meeting new people and helping each other as a community is an integral part to a future of success for everyone tied to the REI community.

At this time, I am planning to make a move on my first multi-family property once all of the right pieces fall into place. What are those pieces? I have yet to determine my ultimate direction(e.g., residential, commercial). I have an open-mind to go either way, I just need to pinpoint where I want to start, why, and what my goal in doing so will be. I do really like the idea of the "stacking" method...I just need to determine how big my first stack is going to be!

Thank you all and I look forward to building strong, conducive relationships.
