Getting Started into real estate

Hey everyone,

My name is Hayley I am looking into getting my real estate license then start getting into flipping houses. Any info or advice that anyone has on how to get started on this would be greatly appreciated!!

Getting your license and being a skilled and effecient agent are two, totally different concepts. I'm not saying that it's impossible, but many people think you get your license and you make an extra 3 or 6% on every deal. That's just not true. 

I have done so many deals with investors trying to go this route and they make so many mistakes along the way that it costs them much more than they are "saving" by representing themselves and they have no idea that they've even lost. 

There's a reason why the attrition rate with agents is 90%- easy to get a license, not so easy to be successful. 

My advice if you want to get your license is to make that the main focus of your real estate efforts and you can flip as opportunities present themselves and not the other way around.
