Looking to start investing

I am Joe and in the process of buying a hobby farm in North West Minnesota where my wife and I will relocate at the first of the year.

I retired from Law Enforcement in 2015 and have worked managing and maintaining a large working ranch in Idaho with 10 structures.  Long hours and hard physical labor is directing me to real estate investing but have no clue how to get started.

I am looking to network and meet anyone who would appreciate any advise.
