Looking to start investing

I am Joe and in the process of buying a hobby farm in North West Minnesota where my wife and I will relocate at the first of the year.

I retired from Law Enforcement in 2015 and have worked managing and maintaining a large working ranch in Idaho with 10 structures.  Long hours and hard physical labor is directing me to real estate investing but have no clue how to get started.

I am looking to network and meet anyone who would appreciate any advise.

@Joe Davidson Great name! And way to work in so you can retire.

There are many ways to invest in RE, and from your post I would lean towards the more passive ways. Long-term rentals, investing in to other peoples funds, or note or lending on money to other people RE deals. Do you have a passion in one direction or something that gets you excited. If none of that sounds exciting does any of it sounds horrible. Eliminating investing strategies is sometimes easier than picking one.
