New member in Solano County

Hi all -

My name is Josh Wolfe and I have been lurking on BP for quite a while. Time to stick my head out and actually say hi.

I am currently wholesaling properties with my Mom and brother in the Sacramento area and looking at some opportunities out of state. We live in Fairfield, but focusing on Sac because it is a larger market. When I say I, I really mean my family...I have a desk job and while I am doing what I can to help with the real estate (including being on here to learn and using my 2 hour a day commute to listen to pod casts and increase my education), my family is doing the heavy lifting at this point. Yes, I listen to the BP podcasts and rate them in the top of the ones I hear on RE. Good job on that Josh and Brandon!

We are interested in using the wholesaling to pay off debts and build up enough capital to start moving into buy and holds. I am very much looking forward to the day when I can hang up my keyboard and work on building the life I want without the limitations of working for someone else.

Looking forward to new friends and the never-ending quest of learning on BP!

Mehran - We are marketing to people who own property in the Sacramento area but live out of state. We send them post cards monthly and that is where all of our deals have come from to date. I am also searching Craigslist daily (well through an automation site) and analyzing local deals there. I pass those on to my brother to contact and evaluate motivation. So far that hasn't given any payout but just a matter of time.

Brandon - Already have the keywords set up :-). And from all of the advice of the guests on the podcast, we are actually marketing for our own deals as you can see above :-)

@Michael Lemieux - Hanging up my keyboard means I am done with programming and working for someone else for a living..definitely on the top of my goals! :-D
