Hello BP,

My name is Marx Desulme, and I am a brand new wholesaler looking to network and learn as much as I possibly can from professionals who have been wholesaling for a good amount of time. I am just starting my wholesaling career at 22 and I know I am far from where I want to be right now. I am a young college student looking to meet great individuals willing to help teach a young ambitious newbie the ins and outs of wholesaling in the Philadelphia market. I have attended one meetup group in Philadelphia thus far but I still feel I have a lot to learn if I want to be successful at this. I want to meet as many wholesalers and investors as possible and grow in this industry, and I knwo BP is a great place t start. If anybody is willing to give a few pointers or just network I would be more than grateful. My goal is to complete at least 15 wholesale deals by 2015 and hopefully eventually purchase my first property to hold and rent out. Any tips would be really helpful and I am open to any and everything. I look forward to networking with the great community BP has to offer and I am anxiously awaiting to speak with seasoned investors. Thank you and and wish me luck.

Hey all,

It has been 3 years since I posted this and I amazed at the responses I received. In all honesty I have not done much with real estate in the last three years and began pursing other ventures out of fear and analysis paralysis. In the last 3 months however, I have decided to take another plunge into the world of REI and this time with the help of a small team I established we are planning to seriously establish ourselves as major players in the tristate area. Thank you to everyone who took the time out to respond to this post and offer words of encouragement or advice. We are currently working on closing our first few wholesale deals as well as 2 seller finance deals we hope will work out in our favor with a 2 burned out landlords. We are also considered looking into purchasing our first fix and flip single family home with the help of hard money. I am excited to begin again on this journey to financial freedom and control and I look forward to having BP play a huge role in our success. I am looking forward to networking with all of awesome investors and real estate professionals BP has to offer.
