Ryan from Northern Virginia
Hi,
I just started listening to BP podcasts after seeing the website once or twice. After long thought and the personal decision to get into real estate, I decided to purchase a home in 2012. I have since lived in my house and had at least 1 roommate at all times. This has brought my mortgage down quite a bit.
My interest in real estate is to Buy and Hold, and even manage. A goal of mine is to have enough passive (sort of) income from these properties to live without a 9-5 job. Actually, I would like to pursue some entrepreneurial journeys of my own, besides real estate.
I am born and raised in the Northern Virginia area, so as so I bought my first home here. I figured, its outside of DC and next to Dulles Airport, land value could only rise over the long haul. I have a long term mentality, but still would like to live it up while I'm young (I'm 25).
So if you made it through this entire post, I thank you and I look forward to taking part in the forum some more.
Ryan
