Newbie from Houston, TX
Hello BP! My name is Todd Malmgren and I am 34-year-old retail manager burnt out on his career looking to make a big change. I am hoping that real estate investing will be that change, which will allow me to provide better for myself and my family.
A couple years ago I had a small taste of success flipping a house back in West Virginia for a decent profit. I became addicted to real estate investing and the possibilities, and soon afterwards I moved to Houston where I hoped to find a wider array of investing opportunities.
I have a two prong strategy, that of flipping and wholesaling properties. My goal is to eventually be able to wholesale 3-4 properties monthly, while building up my funds in addition to my already limited amount and also be able to flip two plus properties at a time.
I would love to meet and network with other local investors and wholesalers in the Houston area, especially those on the northeast side of town, in hopes of possibly finding properties to flip and learn more about the specifics of wholesaling.
