I discovered Bigger Pockets over a year ago. I've been listening to the podcast and decided to take the next step and actually join the site.

I am a licensed Realtor although I still work full-time in research at a commercial real estate brokerage company (bills must be paid). I've been a researcher in commercial real estate for over 6 years and want to start investing sooner than later. So I'm new but have a good working knowledge of real estate.

I'm still figuring out the best strategy so for now I'm here to learn and hope to contribute more to the community as I learn more.

@Joe Fairless thanks for the reply. i've checked out your wesbite and a couple that you have linked to. feeling very inspired. i definitely want to do long-term buy and holds. i'm trying to figure out how to get started today.
