Hi everyone, i have been listening to the podcast and taking advantage of the great resources at BP, and so i thought i should introduce myself.

My name is ted kane, i am a licensed architect in New York, NY. I have my own practice (Kane A|UD) and i am looking at doing some architect/developer projects in Brooklyn or NYC area, in the next year. in particular, I am looking to do a small lot development of 6-8 units to hold for rental. I am currently looking for the right land and opportunity. This is a special interest in addition to my client based commercial projects. i look forward to being involved and meeting some of the people on the site. -- ted

Welcome to BP. When I was in school at Cincinnati, my roommate during the freshman year was an architect major. He worked as hard as I did - I liked that. Architecture, much like violin, combines the logical and the esthetic in ways that are uncommon in other fields. I think you likely have a leg up on the investing business simply due to the thinking pattern that is required of you in your profession.
