Hi everyone, i have been listening to the podcast and taking advantage of the great resources at BP, and so i thought i should introduce myself.

My name is ted kane, i am a licensed architect in New York, NY. I have my own practice (Kane A|UD) and i am looking at doing some architect/developer projects in Brooklyn or NYC area, in the next year. in particular, I am looking to do a small lot development of 6-8 units to hold for rental. I am currently looking for the right land and opportunity. This is a special interest in addition to my client based commercial projects. i look forward to being involved and meeting some of the people on the site. -- ted

@Ted Kane

Welcome to BP. When I was in school at Cincinnati, my roommate during the freshman year was an architect major. He worked as hard as I did - I liked that. Architecture, much like violin, combines the logical and the esthetic in ways that are uncommon in other fields. I think you likely have a leg up on the investing business simply due to the thinking pattern that is required of you in your profession. You will get just about any question answered here, all you need to do is ask... Good luck!
