I just joined the BP community and would like to know about real estate in general but preferably commercial real estate in New York because I just joined real estate consulting firm from the public sector. My firm specializes in helping companies optimize their real estate portfolio whether its by location, office space efficiency, incentives, technology, labor adjustments to save costs for a fee. You could say brokers show companies spaces where they can move into work, while we recommend which ones to go in by brainstorming which will be the best fit. Clients come to us when they are trying to expand or consolidate, or perform M&As to efficiently execute multiple scenarios of workplace strategy.

@Brandon Turner The beginner's guide was actually the book that introduced me to the site, as it made countless references to Bigger Pockets, by the time I finished the guide I could not resist myself from applying!! I hope to learn a lot from the community.
