Wanting a mind set reset...

Hello all! I am a 36 year old 19 year technician in the collision repair industry. I am now a sales and tech rep for a company and get to travel around more then ever locally. The question I have for you guys is, how did you navigate finding properties along with figuring out what works best for you as far as types of properties? Really wanting to get involved but nervous on picking a path.

@Remington Lyman Sorry I should have been more clear. I dont travel out of state just about an hour parameter from my home. I currently have a 1800+ sqft 3 bed 2 bath with 2 large garage home and live with my fiance. Im home every day. I do not owe much on the home as i purchased it 10 years ago during the end of the bad house market. I have about 100k in equity in my house and some savings as well. I do not like the idea of living with anyone or in a multiple door situation.
