Hello from Moscow

Hello all,

I am a self employed American living in Moscow, Russia. I am interested in getting started investing in real estate.

From what I understand it is a little more difficult for self employed people to get a mortgage than for others. I also think living and working overseas could complicate things a little more as well.

I would be interested in connecting with other self employed investors and people that live overseas but still invest in real estate in the US. I also would be interested in learning more about the challenges of owning a property that is a significant distance away from someones primary residency.
