Hello from Alexandria, VA

Hello, my name is Phil and I bought a townhouse in Alexandria, VA in 2009 and fell into being a landlord in 2012 after taking a job with Uncle Sam in Germany. I do intend to return to the DC, VA metro area within the next 2-4 years.

I have read few real estate investing books and just recently stumbled onto BP and I'm excited to learn as much as I can. I plan on being a buy and hold investor initially and would like to get my real estate license when I return to the States.

As mentioned before, I'm renting out a house right now, but I am considering selling it as I'm a little negative on the cashflow, but I'll leave those questions for another discussion topic.
