Hello Bigger Pockets community!

My name is Chris Mojo and I am a current architecture/construction management graduate from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo (SLO) now living in beautiful Orange County, CA. Having graduated this past June with my B.Arch I am now working as a project engineer for an /international specialty contracting firm gaining hands-on experience in the construction world while at the same time networking and expanding my range of contacts.

However, my true passion lies in the entire real estate process from the creation and design of properties to their funding and ownership. I have no prior specific real estate experience other than my architecture/construction background and current career, however that is why I am here. To broaden my knowledge and educate myself on how to start up in the real estate world and to start early. I've read plenty of books and done hours of research, however it's time to take it to the next level and throw myself out there and figure out the best ways to start. I learn best from interacting with other people who have the knowledge I wish to gain and by getting my hands dirty and working through problems.

I have a great desire to start out flipping/rehabbing single family homes, although I know that can be tough in this market. To meet any other SoCal flippers/rehabbers would be amazing to gain insight on the best ways to get started and how to be successful. I hope to combine my architecture/construction experience together with my love of real estate in the flipping industry.

I would love to chat and pick the brain of anyone and everyone willing to help me increase my knowledge of the real estate industry, specifically flipping/rehabbing, as well as how to get started investing in properties effectively.
