Hello everyone, I'm Steve. Husband and father of three. I've worked in social services and law enforcement for about 20 years and I don't want to do it anymore. I have always been interested in real estate and in owning land. I started with the RE podcast after a coworker and rental property owner told me about it and was instantly hooked. I bought my pro membership last week and have probably run through about 100 analyses just for practice and actually found a few properties that my agent thought were good looks in a desirable area. I am pumped to go see my first 2 multi-family units tomorrow and a couple multi and single family units on Friday. Thanks to Biggerpockets, I'm confident that I have the tools I will need to start building something for myself and my family. I'm keeping my day job for now, but a guys gotta hope, right? Keep up the great work BP!
