Looking to purchase my first House Hack

Omar Radwan
Posted

It has always been my dream to be financially free and have 10+ properties by the time im 30. Well I am 22 and 6 months away from being a registered nurse. I have a great paying job already so i feel confident that i can purchase a house sooner rather than later. I am looking at the 44109 area to purchase. If anyone has any advice or pointers to help me out I would greatly appreciate it. If not, it is nice to meet everyone and join the community!

@Omar Radwan I cannot help you with the Ohio Market but welcome and you are on the journey much sooner than others so with consistent action and hard work you will be very well off. Also awesome becoming a nurse! If you like the work it is a very stable and in-demand career. One thought I had if I was a nurse would be to be a travelling nurse and pair it with house hacking. Not sure if it is feasible or not. Target higher appreciation areas, house hack with other travelers or anyone really, extend your contract for a year. Once the year is up move to another area or extend again and stay in the same area and find a new house to hack. I think it would be cool to do in vacation spots across America and then convert them into Airbnbs or midterm rentals.
