Hi, my name is Jake and I am new to the world of real estate investing! I just graduated from college this past spring with a degree in construction management. Throughout college, I took a number of real state, construction, and financial courses that sparked my interest in real estate.

I'm looking into investing in a multifamily home for my first property. The difficult position that I'm placed into is with my current job. I accepted a great starting position right out of college in a company leadership program that requires me to move every 6 months to a year....and these aren't close moves.

I still have lots to learn and I feel like this is a great place to sharpen my skills while I wait. My goal is to be knowledgeable and ready to make great deals once the moving stops...or before I turn 25.

I'm looking to make new colleagues, mentors, and ultimately friends from this experience.

Welcome Jacob! Depending on your risk tolerance, it's possible to manage properties long-distance. Podcast 25 deals with that. But if it's not for you, like you said there's lots to learn here before you get going. Best of luck!

John
