New member - long time SoCal SFR investor
Hi All! I just joined. I live in Texas but my rental properties are all SFR properties in Southern California. Focused on the the premium locations there (Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Montecito, La Jolla, etc.). Been doing it about 10 years. My experience is that the rental yields are terrible, but the appreciation is phenomenal, taxes are fixed, tenants are very good, and vacancy is low.
