What do I bring to BP as a newbie?

Vincent R.
Posted

Hi all. My account has been open for almost a year, but over the last 4 or 5 months, real estate has become my passion/hobby. Frequently fall asleep with one airpod in my ear streaming BP podcast and my phone in one hand with a not-so-random zillow listing open.

By the end of next week, we will have likely closed on our 2nd property. The last 6 months have been a whirlwind (first property purchased in September). I realize many move a lot faster, but for us... this has truly been an all-in endeavor (in between full time jobs and two children under 5-years old).

I've wanted to jump in and post something, but I keep asking myself, "what can I add to the discussion that hasn't already been added?". BP is truly comprehensive and I know I've found answers to so many questions... so what are people looking for from a newbie???

Anyway, if anybody reads this, I appreciate your feedback and I thank you and others for continuing to put consumable information out there.

Job accomplished Vincent! You just added value to me. I am in the same boat. My fiancé and I are in our second property and first house hack! It nice to know I'm not the only just consuming myself with education and excited about the future! Thank you man and have a great day! Happy investing! Also don't worry about how fast other people are going in this journey. Just focus on what you can control.
