New member intro from New Jersey. My name is Marty Happle and I am new to BP and am looking to increase my knowledge in real estate. I'm interested in flipping, buy and hold and notes. I currently buy non-performing 2nd mortgages/notes and I am in the middle of my first flip. I also have a full time job, got married last year and we are expecting our first kid. (I'm motivated) Looking to connect and develop relationships.

I like BP's emphasis on relationship and integrity first. Business is not just dollars and cents when you have good relationships and it is a win-win for everyone. Lets make money together and have fun doing it.

@Abdul R. NJ & NY have a 2 - 3 year foreclosure timeline. (upstate NY has some faster timelines) Our business model is not to take the property but to rehab the note or get a pay off. Without the threat of foreclosure the borrower has little incentive to pay. Some people are so tough until they get that letter and now they want to sit and talk. Our goal is to help the homeowner realize it is not only better to pay (in most cases) but some have given up and don't realize that a turn around is possible. They keep their home and we also make money.
