Hello All,

My name is Chris Hunt; I am new to real estate investment and eager to get involved. My short term goal is to make at least one real estate investment in 2014 with the hopes of owning a profitable rental portfolio in the long term.

I was introduced to Bigger Pockets through my search of a good book on rental properties. A gentlemen on the web suggested the book How I Turned $1,000 into Five Million in Real Estate in My Spare Time and to join his favorite real estate web site…..Bigger Pockets. I went to BP and now I’m hooked. I particularly appreciate the podcasts as I can learn as I work. I am open to any suggestions on finding my first rental. I have been reading up on the FHA 203K loans in hopes of buying a cheap fixer upper. My plan is to occupy the property while renting to others.

Thanks,

Chris H.
