New investor in the beautiful NC mountains!

Hi, thanks for having me. Looking forward to making some connections and starting my new career.

I'm currently living in eastern NC, where I've been my whole life. I've been visiting the NC mountains from an early age with my parents, and have always loved being there. My wife and I bought a house last year in Ashe county, which is where we'll be living once we've rehabbed the house we're currently living in.

The plan as of right now is to rent that, move to our "new" house in the mountains, and utilize the BRRRR method to get started, progressing to multi family properties thereafter.

Haven't nailed down which markets I'll be in, but interested in Lansing to West Jefferson areas, as well as Boone at the moment. I'm also interested in possibly investing in my home town market of New Bern.

Looking for contacts, so please don't hesitate to offer suggestions. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to being a member of the BP community.
