Interested in Multi Family/ House Hacking

Hi everyone, I just joined last month and I would love to know/connect with other investors all over but, also in la county since I live there currently. I was hoping connect with a mentor as I plan to invest in multi family for my first property. I don't quite have a lot of cash saved (I am saving a good portion each month). Wanted to know if anyone had some good suggestions for la investors that don't quite have enough to invest out of state. My goal is to become a real estate mogul once I'm able to get off the ground. Anything anyone is able to provide would be greatly appreciated as I know everyone here is busy conquering their goals.

What I would focus on doing is joining as many investor groups in your area as possible, and becoming friends with some of them. Find out who the seasoned vets are and see what crowds they run in. Find out the groups that the seasoned vets are in and try to join those as well. Birds of a feather flock together as they say
