Over the past few months I have gained interest in the real estate market. I have started doing my own research but thought it would be great to get feedback and learn from the bigger pockets group. I am interested in the buy and hold approach and am looking at single family/condo/multi-family places depending on costs.

My goal is to gain a better understanding of how to price a home and determine if the ROI is worth it, understand where to find market trends and how to use them better when trying to figure out where to purchase a investment property and eventually learn best practices and tips on how to be a successful landlord and how to manage a property on my own.

This is a 2nd career for me so I realize that may be a large goal.
