Newcomer to Real Estate

Hello BiggerPockets Community!  My name is Jason Krul and I was recently(about a month ago) introduced to the power of investing in real estate at a local Real Estate group.  I am 23 years old and determined to make this my career one day through learning as much as I can.  Not only because of the freedom real estate investing can bring and the relationships it can build with other like minded people.

The past month I have had my head buried in the books that Brandon Turner, David Green, and Josh Dorkin have written such as How To Invest in Real Estate, How to Invest in Real Estate For Low (and No) Money down, and have just started Long Distance Real Estate Investing.

With that said, I really enjoy the wholesale process out of the methods I've learned about thus far.  I like getting involved with the finer details and like finding creative ways to make things work.

My goal with this introductory post was step foot into real estate in hopes of learning as much as I can in addition to meeting all of you awesome people.

What are some tips for a newcomer in the wholesaling business, as well as any common rookie mistakes to avoid?
