Mobile home investment

Hi everyone! My family and I are moving to the Denver area and looking to invest into a mobile home. We're buying cash with the profits from the sale of our home so we're not financing anything. Our plan is to live in the mobile home for a little while until we can find our actual home. The question- is it a smart investment and are we going about it in the right way? Thanks for the input!
