Hello all!! I am Timothy Stanislav. I look forward to building relationships, networking and learning the real estate game with you all! I can't express how excited I am about this community and the opportunities it generates. I believe the more access people have to ideas and information the more powerful and knowledgeable they become.

I've been very interested in real estate ever since a professor in college explained to me about buy and hold investing in duplexes. I discovered biggerpockets on google, and have been pouring through the site like I found a treasure trove. I can't get enough!

Anyway, about me. I have done some freelance journalism and a few retail and service industry jobs since graduating from college in 2010. I realized very quickly I don't feel passionate about the 9-5 lifestyle and working for my pay like a wage slave so I decided I need to make it in real estate. I am looking to transition into real estate full time as I can afford it and possibly continue writing on the side. I want to achieve financial freedom so I can spend time doing the things I love with my friends and family.

I hope to focus on cashflow rent and hold properties initially but as I get more skilled I want to get into commercial development. I love to travel, read, cook, garden, and conversate; among other things haha. I look forward to getting to know you all and am so excited for the opportunity to become a member of this community of professionals.
