Hopeful Owner/Future Investor in Boston, MA
Good Afternoon Everyone!
My name is Christopher Lombardo and I am new to the Bigger Pockets Real Estate Community. I just got my license in July of 2021. I am a full time 911 Dispatcher and plan on building a portfolio alongside this. My first question is what does everyone think about the Boston Real Estate Market and how inflated it seems? I understand interest rates are low so home prices are a little propped up but does anyone foresee a big drop coming in the near future? I have plans to buy a single family or condo in the area (East Boston, Dorchester, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Chelsea, or Winthrop) in the next 12 months but it just seems like I am overpaying drastically. Do I wait or go for it?
I appreciate everyone taking the time to read and respond.
Thanks in advance,
Christopher L
