Moving to Pittsburgh from Italy and starting with RE investing!

Andrea Campo
Posted

Hi BiggerPockets community,

Happy New Year!

My name is Andrea Campo, my wife and I will move from Italy to Pittsburgh in May. She is from LA, I'm Italian. We visited Pittsburgh last August and we decided to move to the North Park area (McCandless, Allison Park, Wexford), we really liked it!

I am passionate about Real Estate investing, I'm not totally new to it, since I've already done four small flips here in Italy, but from what I'm reading it is a totally different game in the US. The BP community is great and I would like to learn as much as possible in the months before moving to Pittsburgh, so we can start investing in rental properties when we get there.

If you are in the Real Estate Business in the Pittsburgh area, or if you would like to share some good advice for our move, let's connect please! In return, I can give you some very good Italian recipes :-)

We are also looking for a house to rent when we move there; if anyone has rental properties in the area or knows about them, please let us know! We are constantly searching on zillow.com but there are not so many houses for rent in the North Park area (mainly apartment complexes).

Thank you so much,

Andrea
