New Investor in Southeast Idaho

Hello and Happy New Year! I've been lurking in the forums for the past couple years, but I'm ready to finally take the leap! I moved to Pocatello Idaho during this past year to finish my degree at Idaho State University, and to pursue REI in this growing region. I'm currently househacking a nice little duplex here in Pocatello which has been a great introduction with a lot of "on the fly" learning.

My goal is to acquire small multifamily properties from Southeastern Idaho to Northern Utah, eventually scaling to larger multifamily.  It's time to put on my creative thinking cap as properties in this area are now quite expensive with rents lagging behind...

I'm excited to interact in this great community and meet some awesome people! Thanks for reading

@Chris Davidson  Thanks for the solid advice.  I'm re-reading a few books like The book on rental property investing by Brandon Turner and reminded how important systems are. I need to run it like a business and not have the business run me!

I'll definitely let you know if I have questions
