New member introduction from AK!

I’am glad to have found this resource! I currently live in Alaska and am desperate to re-locate to the lower 48, so first of all if anybody knows of a full time job with benefits in either Idaho, Montana, Colorado or Texas (other similar states considered) that would support a wife and a new born in June, holler! I don’t have experience in anything real estate but hold a leadership compliance job with the State here that would transfer experience over to a lot of other jobs.
Once relocated and settled in I am hoping to do a house hacking/remodel type gig and renovate a bedroom into a separate entrance, mother in-law studio to Airbnb. Struggling to save a down payment. I recently re-financed my truck and cut the APR in half so that is one small step in the right direction.
At this moment re-locating seems like the biggest mountain to climb.
