Wholesaling real estate on F1 visa, As an international student.

As an international student on F1 visa, Can i wholesale real estate physically/virtually? Is that legally possible?

Let me know if this works legally,

Can i do wholesaling, I mean all the ground work and assign the deal to my friend's name. Who is a resident in USA in the same state.

It is like i'm working under his name. And probably share the profits later.

Is it legal to do this?
