Good Morning BiggerPockets community!
In following with the guidelines a little about myself. I recently re-located down to Kansas City, after living in San Diego for the past 3 years. I got out of the Marines in 2011. Got myself a desk job doing IT support and have finally decided that working in a cubicle is not where I want to be. When I was in Afghanistan I started reading about real-estate investment and decided that it was something I wanted to get into. Fastfoward a few years and a couple miserable jobs later. I'm actually in a city that seems like it would be a good place to attempt jumping into the market without a $200,000 loan to get started off. So I've been researching, reading and gathering advice and picking the brains of people who have lived here their entire lives and plan on moving forward into purchasing a house for a buy and hold strategy to build wealth, equity, and eventually retire at a fantastic age of 35. Well that is my goal at least, 10 years for retirement lets get this party rolling. I'm sure I'll have many questions and hope to learn much from what seems like a tightknit community such as Bigger Pockets.
Thanks for the read! Let me know if you have any questions I'll do my best to reply back in short order! Have a fantastic Monday!
