Afternoon go getters!

So my friends an I are heading to Denver Colorado Jan 30 - Feb 3,2019. I'm branching of on my own with a rental while they go snowboard, I do a lot of traveling photography so I want to search for properties while photographing the Colorado Springs area or any other area someone would suggest to take a look at. Any recommendations? I'm on Zillow & Realtor everyday looking at SFH 3/2 and possible multifamily but they are snatched from the market faster than I can click on the listing, well it seems that way. Either way I'm determined to explore Colorado and look at neighborhoods and other factors that could guide my decision on where and how to buy. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.
