Vacation Rental in Durango, CO

My husband and I are looking into purchasing a vacation home that we would use a few weeks a year and rent out as a vacation rental the rest of the time. We are targeting our search in Durango because we love the area with summer and winter activities and we can drive there from Southern California. We especially love the Animas River and would like to find a riverfront property. I welcome any insights, tips, and property management recommendations in the area.
