Hello Everyone!

Has anyone invested in the Thousand Oaks area?  How is pulling permits, working with the City on construction, even building ADUs?

Also how has the tenant pool been?  I would imagine pretty decent with Amgen, the hospital, and the University there.

Any and all insight would be appreciated.  I'm looking to do my next house hack in the area.

Hi Rick! My husband and I own 2 properties in Thousand Oak in the Los Robles area.  We placed one property for rent in Feb 2021 and had 55 people look at it in 3 days and 14 applications.  Our second property is being repaired right now with foundation issues.  It took about 2 weeks to get the permits for the foundation work, so it was pretty quick.  We recently moved to Texas but are still looking to invest in TO. Would love to connect! - Christine
