ADU Consultants and Prefab Companies

Anyone out there have a take on ADU consultants and prefab ADU companies? What drives people to use these services in the Bay Area?

If you have some personal experience with a company, I would love to hear who you used, why, and what your general experience was like.

Depending it can be easier and similar cost to doing it from scratch.  For some of these companies they are prefab so it may also be much faster to build.  I spoke with Realm a few years back and they seemed to have their act together.

One of the big downsides is because they are prefab everything is what it is. For example, window placement can be issue if you want to create privacy between the ADU and main house.
