Local San Diego Wholesalers

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck in doing wholesales in San Diego area? I'm trying to be proactive in the RE game, and i believe wholesaling will be great practice in finding deals, as well as making extra money on the side. I've came across some books and posts about direct mail campaigns, cold calls, door knocking (which would not be a good idea during COVID), and a few other strategies related to wholesales. Does anyone local have any knowledge in this field?
