New to house hacking and rental property investment.
Hi, I am new to house hacking and rental property investments. I am currently in the process of purchasing a tri-plex in Takoma Park, MD. I have an offer under contract, and hope to close within the next 2 weeks. I am using a VA Loan and will be living in 1 of the 3 units. My goal is to acquire 10 units over the next 5 years to supplement my income. I currently work full time, but am looking forward to learning to landlord on the side. I will eventually need help from a good property manager in the Takoma Park area after I move away from the property in 2-3 years. I also am looking for any recommendations for repair men / general contractors in the near future to help me renovate a kitchen in the Takoma Park, MD tri-plex. Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
Josh
