Any areas in LA that are NOT rent control?

Hey There, I'm looking for my first house hacking deal, and was wondering if there any pockets of LA that are NOT rent control. I read that houses built before 1978 are rent controlled in most areas. Any info would be appreciated...

@Danny Farrell rent control doesn't apply to single family homes within the city of L.A

This link from the city explains what types of properties are covered under rent control.

Also if you look to some neighboring cities like Burbank Glendale and some others those cities don't have rent control.
