Is it time to buy a house or condo?

Living in an apt in LA downtown right now and I think it is time for me and my husband to buy a house or condo.

But it looks like the house prices are at the peak and wonder if the price might fall soon.

My lease ends in June next year so I wonder if I should tart looking or wait another year to see if I can get a better deal (low price)

I am looking into around Downtown area, Glendale, La crescenta, area.

Please give me some advice!

Thank you.
