College Degree in Real Estate Allows You To Take CA Broker Exam
My name's Cameron Huard and I am a Real Estate and Finance major at Indiana University. I recently found out that, in the state of California, a person with a real estate degree from an accredited four-year college or university may be exempt from the two-year salesperson experience requirement to become a broker ().
I am wondering if anyone has taken this route to becoming a broker and could elaborate on the process and their experience with the exam application. It is my long-term goal to eventually become a broker and start my own business so your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Best,
Cameron

The dre site is pretty extensive. After you provide proof for your accredited degree, the exam vs the salesperson is similar. Brokers has a little more and has to score higher to pass (75% vs 70%).

There wasn't any surprises. Pretty straightforward.
