Local Gilbert/Chandler/Phoenix/Scottsdale investors
Hello everyone!
I am new here. I am looking to buy my first home in phoenix in the next 6 months. I want to get preapproved for a loan so I can live in for a year and upgrade a few things to sell. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on local investing groups in the Phoenix area. There is a bunch of hype out there and I don't want to get caught up in a scam. My hypothesis is if I go local with my lending it will help connect me to other real estate investors and mentors in my area instead of fake gurus. The market is super competitive here so any local knowledge I can get is much appreciated! I am now working from home so I am open to finding great deals outside of the Phoenix area.

My first deal closes in 2 weeks! The AZREIA monthly meeting is on Monday - always really helpful information shared.
