Anyone heard of Fundwise?

After attending an investment seminar last month; I am driven to learn as much as I possibly can to become a Real Estate Investor.   Does anyone have any experience with "Fundrise"?  I came across their information today and they claim that members pay $ to invest in a portfolio of properties that generate consistent quarterly cash flow (9%-11%). 

Feeling a bit gullible as I am a novice at this and want to know your thoughts.
