New investor in Arizona (Casa Grande)
Hey everyone,
I just recently moved to Arizona from Cali. I am living in Pinal County, Casa Grande area. I am looking to get started immediately with investing. I would like to work with someone or a team to kind of get my feet wet in the game. I am interested in the Pinal county market as well as the Phoenix and Tucson market.
Where are the best REI meetings happening out here? What is the best strategy for these areas? (Flipping, holding, wholesale, etc.)
Any advice would be great. I am wanting to start today. And can anyone send me a solid formula for evaluating properties to know if i have landed a good deal? Thanks in advance everyone.

Welcome to the Phoenix and Tucson area! BiggerPockets is the right place for you to get started!
My first piece of advice would be to learn, learn, learn as much as you can about real estate investing, and then you'll be able to determine which strategy is going to work best for you and your situation.
Lots of money and little free time? Buy and Hold
Some decent money and more time? Fix and flip
Little money but lots of time? Wholesaling
That's a ridiculous generalization but hopefully I made my point.
Then, once you know what strategies will work for you, you can apply those as best as you can to the market you are working in. No sense in learning what's working best in the market if the strategy doesn't work for you. Figure out what will work for you and then apply that strategy as best you can to the market.
